National Occupational Standards for Reflexology
 

The NOS are a set of standards which have been developed in co-operation with representatives from the Reflexology Forum. They are published by the standards setting body for the healthcare sector, Skills for Health (previously Healthwork UK). The NOS underpin qualifications, inform curriculum design, support Continuing Professional Development and support registration.

Why is this important?

The development of reflexology into a regulated profession will provide assurance to the general public through high levels of:

  • Safety
  • Quality
  • Standards

The Reflexology Forum is paving the way for successful integration between reflexology and orthodox medicine, providing the public with an enhanced approach to healthcare.

 

A copy of the NOS can be viewed at the Skills for Health website and should be used in conjunction with the Core Curriculum for Reflexology in the United Kingdom:
