Government watchdog breaks new ground by giving cautious endorsement of some complementary medicines in treating multiple sclerosis

The NHS/Doh have published their document "Building on the Best - Choice, Responsiveness and Equity in the NHS. (You will need to search under the Consultations tab). This is the response to the recent consultations about patient choice. Within the document, page 23, it states that ideas from the National Task Groups which will need further exploration and development (proposals due in 2004), include "Developing a framework for access to complementary medicines". This document is in pdf format and may take a while to open.
